Lancashire County Council is the fourth largest in the UK, spanning fourteen districts covering an enormous geographic area with a fantastic mix of both urban and rural communities. We’re here to serve the people of Lancashire to ensure they live independent lives for as long as possible.
Following the promotion of Mark Wynn to Chief Executive, Lancashire are seeking a new Executive Director of Resources. This is a critical role in our executive leadership team, working very closely with Members to support the smooth running of the organisation and acting as the driving force for our entire corporate centre including Finance, Digital & IT, Law & Governance, Strategy & Innovation and People Services.
This is a career defining opportunity as Lancashire moves to a new and exciting time in its future. There are huge opportunities for growth, and you will be directly responsible for helping to shape services for our residents and for businesses in our communities.
We are looking for someone exceptional, someone who brings significant experience of corporate leadership across many of these service areas and someone who is comfortable driving change and innovation and can support the council through its exciting reorganisation journey.
