Interim Programme Manager – Mental Health Transformation

Starfish Search are working with a local authority in London to recruit an Interim Programme Manager – Mental Health Transformation. They are looking for a proactive programme manager to be part of their Towards Outstanding Programme (TOP), having responsibility for the day to day programme management of the Mental Health Workstream to ensure the work delivers successfully, on time and within budget.

THE ROLE

You Will

  • Implement an action plan of improvements arising from a recent review
  • Deliver the successful implementation of the Mental Health transformation programme from start to finish. Which includes the delivery of the programme plan, reporting monthly progress to the Board, and ensuring that issues are monitored, and escalated where required.
  • Work closely with their Associate Director of Mental Health Services to support improvements in their social work services within an integrated community mental health team.
  • Work closely with colleagues to align their current transformation agendas and deliver shared improvement objectives

 

You Will Have

  • An excellent knowledge of Mental Health services, with experience of working with Trusts and Local Authority Mental Health services and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to provide strategic direction to the programme, and to work both independently and as part of a team

 

This position reports into the Assistant Director, Adult Social Care. It is a 3-month position beginning in early July and their expected day-rate is £500 inside IR35.
