Interim Finance Director
This role will be offered on a fixed term contract at circa £85,000 + all employee benefits
The Role
Our client, an industry wellbeing and support charity, are seeking an Interim Director of Finance for a period of 9 months to lead the provision of all financial and support services for the organisation.
In this role you will…
- Lead the development and implementation of the finance and support strategy which is currently in development
- Track progress and monitor performance, ensuring all projects and change programmes are delivered
- Work with the Finance & Investment Committee to direct the Charities investment strategy, and directing the implementation of the Charity’s social investment strategy
- Lead the annual financial business planning and budgeting processes, ensuring the financial tools and processes are in place to support the on-going and future needs of the charity
- Develop and implement practices and processes that ensure that the charity fulfils its overall purpose
- Implement best practice in all support functions, including Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Office Management

- A finance professional with a track record of managing complex financial resources
- An experienced leader, with experience in leading other support functions
- Experience in charity/corporate governance and risk management
- Proficient in ICT strategy and the digital environment
- A strategic thinker with high attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
