Interim Director of HR

Starfish Search is working with a large social care charity, to secure them an Interim Director of Human Resources.
In this role you will work collaboratively with the Chief Executive as part of the senior leadership team, providing vision, leadership, and direction to ensure the organisation achieves its strategic priorities through the conception and delivery of an appropriate People Strategy.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Provide guidance and challenge at executive leadership team level to ensure that the organisational design and resources are aligned to the efficient delivery of objectives
- Lead an effective and efficient recruitment service across all of the organisation’s business areas
- Ensure resource availability in line with operational needs. with a view to minimising agency staff utilisation
You Will Have:
- Proven experience of leading the HR function within an organisation of a similar size
- A ‘hands-on’ approach to maintaining and developing operational functions
- Experience of leading change programmes and embedding cultural change
- A background in social-care or health
- A relevant HR qualification, preferably Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (MCIPD) or above
This is a hybrid role, based in London with an expected time commitment of 35 hours per week. The position will last 4-6 months, whilst a permanent candidate is sourced.
