THE ROLE
You Will:
- Lead the finance team, planning and managing the workload of the department, and ensuring a high standard of support is offered by the team to the wider charity
- Act as a member of the Senior Leadership Team providing collective leadership for the charity
- Ensure the charity has effective financial policies and procedures in place, which are periodically reviewed and improved
- Monitor the charity’s investments, working closely with investment advisors
- Be responsible for the preparation of the Charity annual statutory accounts
- Act as Company Secretary, ensuring that the organisation complies with corporate governance requirements set by regulators.
You Will Have:
- Experience of leading the finance function in a non-profit organisation
- An understanding of the political regulatory environment in which charities operate, including relevant areas of charity law
- Direct experience of producing statutory accounts
- The ability to develop strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
This role is running for a period of six months, it is a hybrid role with an expected 2 days/week in one of their central London locations. Salary, circa £94,000. Day rate considered Inside IR35.
