Starfish Search are working with a leading women’s social-care organisation to secure them an Interim Chief Operating Officer. The organisation has grown exponentially in the last 4 years resulting in a requirement to introduce more systematic ways of working. They are specifically looking for someone to support the Senior Leadership Team through a period of transformation in the organisation

THE ROLE

You Will:

  • Secure the functionality of business following a period of growth and ensure the future operational sustainability of the charity
  • Provide robust financial and people leadership, embedding the new finance team as part of central team and organisation
  • Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention of staff by setting a learning and development plan, based on organisational need
  • Lead on legal policies and procedures alongside trustees
  • Oversee daily operations across the HR, Organisational Development, Finance & Operations teams

You Will Have:

  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or similar, ideally as an Interim
  • In depth understanding of HR, Finance and Operations functions
  • Demonstrable competency in transformation and business change
  • Experience working with boards, setting organisation-wide policies and procedures

This is a 12-month full-time contract with a salary between £85,000 – £90,000. It is a hybrid role based in London, with an expected time commitment of 35 hours per week and some travel to other London and South East locations required.
