Starfish Search is partnering with a growing charity to recruit an Interim Chief Financial Officer.
This is an exciting and pivotal time for the organisation as it enters a phase of growth and transformation. We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking finance leader who can provide high-level insight and guidance, helping the charity shape its financial future.
THE ROLE
You Will:
Lead Strategic Financial Planning
Direct the annual and multi-year budgeting and planning processes, ensuring alignment with the charity’s overarching goals and growth ambitions. Provide financial insight that supports strategic decision-making and long-term sustainability.
Board and Committee Engagement
Work closely with the Treasurer and Board of Trustees, providing executive leadership to the Finance and Audit Committee. Deliver clear, insightful reporting and guidance to support governance and financial oversight.
Undertake a property review
You Will Have:
- A portfolio of experience leading the finance function of large charitable organisations
- A willingness to move into operational delivery as required should risks arise
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to move at pace
- A formal Accounting Qualification
This role is running for a period of six months on a hybrid basis.
