Starfish Search are working with a Local Authority in London to recruit an Interim Assistant Director for Culture and Leisure. Responsible for a portfolio that includes Sports, Leisure, Parks, Arts, Events, this role leads on the achievement of positive outcomes which benefit the local area.
THE ROLE
You will:
- Develop and continuously improve the service and proactively manage the portfolio.
- Provide organisational expertise to support service transformation, process improvement, business change management, facilitation, and design techniques across the Culture and Leisure Division and wider organisation.
- Design and deliver the overall contract management strategy for the services.
You will have:
- Experience of managing a significant portfolio; management and development of staff and responsibility of the management of substantial resources including budgets.
- Proven track record of successful project and programme management, delivered within a Local Authority.
- Experience of engaging with a diverse local community, and stakeholders influencing and negotiating to achieve common outcomes.
