Interim Accountancy Business Change Manager

Starfish Search are working with a local authority in London to recruit an Interim Accountancy Business Change Manager. The role will manage the financial portfolio of the Council’s Housing Revenue Account and support the strategic delivery of the Accountancy Business Partnership Service functions.
THE ROLE
You will:
- Deliver operational efficiencies while maintaining compliance with legal and statutory frameworks.
- Support the creation of an environment of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity as well as developing effective relationships with other stakeholders.
- Support the Council in meeting its section 151 requirements and fulfil statutory obligations.
You will have:
- Proven experience managing Housing Revenue Accounts within a local authority/housing setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex financial issues.
- Experience providing financial guidance to senior stakeholders, including Chief Officers and members.
