Executive Director, Resources

London Borough of Enfield
Salary circa £175,000
Hackney

We have big ambitions to invest in Enfield for everyone in the borough and, we have a clear plan in place to make it happen. We’re future proofing our strategies and our resources to deliver for our communities, and that’s where you come in.

THE ROLE

As our new executive director and statutory S151 officer, you will provide strategic, empowering leadership across finance, revenue and benefits, digital services and procurement. Just as importantly, you’ll be a driver for change and improvement across the council and play a key advisory role to chief officers, the executive management team, the Leader of the council and Elected Members. This role is more than balancing budgets. This is realising a vision and creating clarity of direction and purpose for Enfield staff right across the organisation and ensuring we work at pace to maintain momentum.

We are looking for resilience, confidence and a proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships. Your drive and positivity will keep us firmly on track to deliver against our strategic objectives and deliver the very best services and support that local government can offer.
