Director of Adult Social Care (DASS)

London Borough of Haringey
Up to £131,000
Hackney

Haringey offers the very best of London: diversity, heritage, culture and pioneering placemaking schemes. But like many other London boroughs our residents are grappling with affordability, housing issues and stark inequalities in their health and wellbeing. We are determined to think creatively about how to deliver services and, for the first time, are bringing together housing, social care and health to work in true collaboration and make every pound work for residents.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced leader to provide strategic direction for Haringey’s Adult Social Care Services. You will have experience of building partnerships with council and health colleagues to drive high-quality, cost-effective services for residents. As the council’s statutory Director of Adult Social Services (DASS), you will advise elected members on key issues and ensure compliance with statutory regulations, while promoting a strengths-based approach to care.
