Our multi-award winning, not for profit organisation is a pioneer of services for older people, creating vibrant village communities and specialising in supporting people to live well with dementia. We are committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community – a place where we can all belong. Over time, the organisation has transitioned from being a provider of traditional care homes into a pioneer of our innovative care village model, always challenging the norm to remain at the leading edge of the social care sector. Today, we operate a network of seven successful Belong villages, providing a range of options for later life living, from independent apartments through to 24 hour nursing care. Three further villages are also under development.
The Role
We are now seeking a new Non-executive Director to join our strong Board. As an organisation that puts people at the heart of all we do, we are particularly keen for our new NED to bring a professional background in strategic HR management.
As an organisation, we are driven by our values, the desire to innovate and to remain at the leading edge of the social care sector, challenging the norm and always putting our customers at the heart of our service. A background in care is not essential to join our Board. We are looking for a commitment to our values and the ability to make a strategic contribution to our vision of enabling older people to live the lives they choose, ensuring the highest quality experience for our colleagues and customers.
