The Role
Hounslow is one of the most diverse boroughs in the country – home to 288,000 people speaking 188 different languages – and a gateway to London and the world.
As a Council we provide nearly 14,000 homes for rent and 2,500 leasehold flats across the borough. The cost-of-living crisis has seen demand for affordable homes continue to grow and increasing numbers of our residents are at risk of poverty and homelessness.
As well as supporting those in housing need, we determined to ensure that every tenant in Hounslow benefits from a first-class landlord. Our new Director will ensure that our diverse communities can live, work and flourish in their homes whether they rent them from the council, registered providers or a private landlord.
