The For Baby’s Sake Trust works with parents to help break cycles of domestic abuse and drive forward positive change, starting with the baby. Our evidence-led programme, For Baby’s Sake operates across the country, working with both parents from pregnancy up until the baby is aged two to enable them to improve life chances for the whole family. We take the learnings from our programme to help contribute to system change at local and national levels, influencing and informing decision-making frameworks, legislation, policy, public understanding, and academic evidence.
Our aim when we started in 2008 was to tackle the root causes of disadvantage and vulnerability focusing on very young babies who do not have a voice. As our Founder and current chief executive move into different roles within the charity, we’re looking for our next chief executive to build on the great work already done and to help shape our future direction, priorities and culture whilst ensuring we retain our core values. We need to build a stronger fundraising focus and diversify our income through partnerships with the charitable, statutory and philanthropic communities and are looking for a strategic leader with strong networks in the field who can lead the organisation as we seek to reach more families and grow our impact.
You will be adept at managing through complexity and be able to translate a shared vision into strategy and lead a highly dedicated senior leadership team and staff through positive change. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and passionate leader to make a real impact in the charity and to babies’ lives.
