THE ROLE
You Will:
- Drive digital innovation and serve as a change agent throughout the organisation, appraising digital assets to optimise the adoption of best practice
- Oversee IT operations and development, ensuring that systems are secure, adaptable, accessible and meet the organisation’s needs
- Support the finance team in the production of the budget, as part of the annual plan
- Monitor actual financial performance and ensuring the annual plan can be delivered each year, through the identification of risks
- Ensure that appropriate arrangements are in place, and managed well, to maintain the organisation’s buildings
- Support the Sustainability Lead in delivering against the strategic objective of responding to the climate emergency
- Have budgetary responsibility of c.£11m
You Will Have:
- Substantial experience of working at board level within a commercially run organisation – could be public/private or non-profit
- Experience of leading and managing technology innovation and service provision, including cyber security
- Demonstrable commercial acumen including budget management and business case development
- Experience of driving performance improvement
- An ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to achieve objectives
The duration of the contract is six months, requiring 4-5 days/week. This is a hybrid role, but you will be expected to be in head office in London 2/3 days a week.
This role can be delivered via fixed term contract or day rate, to be discussed.
