THE ROLE
You Will:
- Have responsibility for the delivery of the fundraising strategy and fundraising operational plan, along with oversight of metrics and performance improvements where needed
- Work closely with non-executive stakeholders such as Trustees and Council members to increase support for the organisation
- Conduct business development activities, growing a portfolio of supporter relationships
- Coach and develop the fundraising team, including line management of a mid-sized team of fundraisers of different levels
You Will Have:
- Experience of leading the fundraising department within large non-profit organisation
- An understanding of fundraising performance metrics and how to utilise them to support delivery against objectives
- A proven track record of managing the high value fundraising cycle, specifically corporates, major donors and trusts and foundations
- Experience in managing the performance of individuals within a mid-sized team
This role is running for a period of 12 months, beginning in early November. The salary is £78,000 plus £3,000 London weighting.
