Starfish Search is working in partnership with a well-established care provider in the South West. With a history that spans more than half a century of providing excellence in care to vulnerable individuals, they, like all organisations, need to ensure they evolve and adapt to the current needs and challenges facing our communities at present. Viewed as a national leader in supported care, they also offer a strong and powerful voice for continued improvement and innovation within their field across the UK.
As Director of Change, you will play an integral role in leading and championing transformation within the organisation. Working in close partnership with the CEO, wider Executive Team and Board, you will define, plan, and execute multiple projects, across multiple disciplines, in line with the organisation’s transformational strategy.
This work is vital in ensuring the organisation realises changes which adhere to risk appetite, budget, schedule and deliver the benefits needed to secure future impact. Utilising robust project management principles, you will establish and manage a change programme consisting of multiple projects across functions / departments, working with both internal and external Project Managers (and as a Project Manager for identified organisational wide transformational and culture change projects).
You will be able to demonstrate a proven and successful track record of delivering organisational wide transformational change programmes at Director level within large and dispersed organisations, ideally across a range of sectors. Experienced at running multiple programmes and projects, you will demonstrate a formal accreditation in – or deep demonstrable knowledge of – project methodologies, such as Agile, Lean, Six Sigma and/or PRINCE2. A confident strategic advisor, you will be comfortable presenting challenging information to a diverse group of stakeholders, with an evidence-based approach to change to support decision making.
Our client supports agile and remote working, however appropriate travel to Head Office in the South West and regional sites will be required. This is a permanent opportunity, although we will also consider applicants seeking a fixed-term contract.
