Established as a non-profit organisation in 2005, TrustMark is the Government Endorsed Quality Scheme that covers work a consumer chooses to have carried out in or around their home. When a consumer chooses a TrustMark Registered Business, they are engaging a business that has been thoroughly vetted to meet required standards, and has made a significant commitment to good customer service, technical competence, and trading practices. TrustMark is the only UK Government-Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out in and around the home.

THE ROLE

We are now looking for an outstanding and skilled Chief Operating Officer at a pivotal time for TrustMark with significant opportunities ahead. Candidates will provide clear and strategic leadership to the organisation, as part of a senior team, and will run operations and business activities effectively on a day-to-day basis. You will contribute to the next phase of the organisation’s impact, and identify and implement critical areas of change and transformation to enable this growth. Above all, you will be experienced in operational delivery, financial and people management and governance.

This is a substantial appointment for a candidate with presence and a positive personal impact. Wherever you are, you will have the capability to build personal credibility quickly; you will be someone who has well-prioritised, standard-setting approaches to delivery, with highly developed influencing skills, sharp attention to detail and the capacity to handle competing priorities, in breadth and volume. You will drive transformation and thrive in it, with both a strategic and tactical mindset.

Finally, guiding and shaping our discussions on governance and regulatory matters will require you to be highly effective, working closely with the CEO and Board. As such, you will be an individual who brings stature, maturity and sound judgement to the role and who is known for operating with insight, discretion and a positive, problem-solving approach.

If you believe you have the skills and qualities required, we would be delighted to hear from you.
