Starfish Search is supporting a London Borough to appoint an Interim Executive Director of Housing to provide strategic leadership across the council’s housing service, supporting continued improvement, strong performance and delivery of key housing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the council’s Housing service and provide strategic direction
- Support delivery across repairs, maintenance, building safety, compliance and major works

Build strong relationships with members, stakeholders and external partners
- Lead and support a senior management team through a period of continued improvement and change
- Maintain momentum and ensure effective service delivery for residents
About You:

Executive level experience, ideally within a local authority housing service

Strong background in housing management and transformation
- Experience working with regulators and delivering service improvement
- Ability to lead complex services and build strong stakeholder relationships
- Strong political awareness and experience working with Members
