Starfish Search are supporting a London Borough to appoint an Interim Executive Director of Housing.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Housing Directorate following an organisational restructure.
- Drive housing service improvement and transformation.
- Strengthen regulatory compliance and engage with the Regulator of Social Housing and Housing Ombudsman.
- Oversee housing safety, including damp, mould and Awaab’s Law.
- Maintain effective tenant services and engagement during the transition.
About you
- Senior local authority housing leadership experience.
- Proven track record of delivering service improvement and transformation.
- Strong knowledge of social housing regulation, compliance and housing safety.
- Experience working with regulators, elected Members and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to lead complex services and deliver improvement in a high-profile environment.
