Interim Employee Relations Lead

Starfish are working exclusively with a Local Authority in the North of England to recruit an Interim IR/ER Lead for an initial contract of up to 18 months, aligned to the delivery of a major pay and workforce transformation programme.
Working as part of a dedicated programme team, you will lead on industrial and employee relations matters relating to historical equal pay claims, new terms and conditions, job evaluation and wider pay reform activity. The role will be the key lead for trade union engagement, advising stakeholders and leading negotiations throughout the programme.
We are keen to hear from experienced IR professionals with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in complex unionised environments.
The role is hybrid, with around two days per week on site in the North of England (typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays, although this is negotiable). Day rate is negotiable, with the key requirement being demonstrable industrial relations expertise and experience of leading high-profile negotiations.
