Director of Assets

Wiltshire Council
£109,885 - £117,015

We are a large unitary authority, home to health and life sciences, pharmaceuticals, telecom and digital industries as well as some of the most ancient monuments in the UK with World Heritage Sites at Stonehenge and Avebury.

As a Council, we have a significant and diverse range of property assets and are ambitious to build on existing success and drive greater innovation from our asset base. We want our asset plans and capital programmes to be bold and ambitious and achieve new opportunities for our residents and businesses.

As our Director of Assets, you will be instrumental in driving the delivery of our existing capital programme including our HRA. You will also be the Council’s principal adviser to our political leadership and executive management team, bringing your creative thinking and innovation to shape how we work with residents and businesses and ensure our assets support our economy, high streets and communities.

You will bring a successful track record of leading substantial capital programmes and managing large portfolios of assets within a large local authority, housing association or NHS Trust. You will enjoy working collaboratively with partners and colleagues across the council from children’s services to adults and housing.
