Chief Executive

Tower Hamlets Education Partnership
London
Circa. £125,000
Hackney

The aim of Tower Hamlets Education Partnership (THE Partnership) is to meet the challenge of ensuring that all children and young people in Tower Hamlets achieve the best possible outcomes and flourish through an effective partnership of schools. Led by schools, for schools, THE Partnership is building on 25 years of excellence in Tower Hamlets and an existing culture of collaborative working to continue to raise standards.

THE ROLE

THE Partnership is looking for a dynamic education leader with a strong track record for delivering improvement and outstanding outcomes for children in a primary or secondary school setting.

With one of the fastest growing, youngest, and most diverse populations in the UK, the ideal candidate will have experience of leading in similar ethnically and socio-economically diverse place.

Home to highly rated schools and with a steady upward trajectory in educational attainment, 97% of schools in the borough are Good and Outstanding, and Tower Hamlets is in the top five London Boroughs for performance.

That being said, there is still more to do, specifically around supporting schools and families through the cost of living crisis, and closing the gap on attainment post-pandemic.

The new Chief Executive will ensure a strong and collaborative partnership continues with schools across the borough spanning early years, primary, secondary and special schools, and they will help schools to welcome and support the children, young people, parents and carers from diverse communities and foster an inclusive culture.
