Interim Head of Library Operations

Starfish Search are working with a local authority in the South East to secure them an Interim Transformation Lead – Libraries. The role will be accountable for leading the delivery of a new operating structure and service design which will deliver transformation within the customer function, primarily for the Library Service.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Provide exemplary change and transformation leadership, implementation of new structures and ways of working for the library service.
- Work with the service, and wider customer, to develop an improved logistics model using robust data and analysis.
- Collaborate across the council, thinking commercially to support the delivery of best possible outcomes for our customers on a financially sustainable basis.
You Will Have:
- Significant senior management experience in a large and politically complex organisation
- The ability to think creatively and work collaboratively to deliver success.
- Experience of successfully delivering a large and complex portfolio of transformational projects
This is a hybrid role based in the South East with an expected 2-3 days per-week in office, running for a duration of 6 months.
