The Role
Our client, a district council in the midlands, are seeking an Interim Head of Housing for a period of 9 months.
Responsibilities…
- Prepare, develop and run the councils housing and landlord services – circa 4,500 homes
- Manage the councils’ land and property assets, ensuring the council achieves maximum utilization
- Lead the council’s investment programme and green build agenda
- Lead the landlord service ensuring the council delivers cost effective and efficient services to tenants, leaseholders and customers
- Provide positive and dynamic leadership, working with the corporate leadership team and wider community to ensure the council is highly regarded by all stakeholders
