Starfish Search are working with a large social care charity to recruit an Interim Director of Quality Assurance & Experience. The focus of this role is the development of a visionary strategy to transform the approach to quality within the organisation, mapping out the steps that will take them from an over- focus on compliance to creating a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

THE ROLE

You Will:

  • Lead and oversee the performance of all parts of the Quality function, maximising its effectiveness and efficiency within budgetary limits
  • Support the ongoing development of the Organisational Strategy to improve effectiveness and performance
  • Support the development of specialisms within the overall quality function and across the organisation to develop more in-depth expertise in key areas
  • Develop and implement a strategy to engage the people we support in the wider organisation
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders, peer organisations, academia, professional and statutory bodies to drive innovation and develop best practice

 

You Will Have:

  • Extensive experience at a senior level with responsibility for quality, gained in a social care or a health setting with a large multi-site workforce
  • Expertise in the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulations, requirements, strategy and practice
  • Experience of leading and delivering transformational change programmes
  • Demonstrable experience developing strategy within a complex organisation
  • Experience of using data to identify areas for improvement and apply insights to drive improvement

 

This is a full-time, Home Based role with occasional days in the London office and required ability to travel to sites around England and Wales.
