Starfish Search are working with a Membership Organisation to recruit an Interim Chief Financial Officer. The focus of this role is to support the CEO in ensuring the development and execution of financial strategies to deliver on the Charitable objectives of the organisation.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Develop the financial strategy
- Take the lead on governance
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the company’s financial statements and full compliance with all laws and regulations
- Be responsible for all finance and purchasing functions across the business
- Ensure statutory and legal financial compliance across all operations
- Lead on the development of continuous improvement through the appropriate investment in the development of financial systems, services, analytics and automation
You Will Have:
- Experience of significant financial leadership in diverse organisations including charities
- Experience of Board level working in a charity environment
- Exceptional judgement and decision-making skills particularly in the areas of financial management and risk
- A Broad understanding of all business disciplines, including HR, IT, compliance, best practice, Membership, Standards, Research and Communications
This role can be home based/ hybrid. The role is running for a minimum of three months, covering a period of sick leave. It is offered at a salary of £110, 000 pro rata.
