Starfish Search are working with a leading social change organisation and housing provider to appoint an Interim Group Chief Executive.
This is a pivotal leadership role, providing strategic direction across a group that combines national influence with direct service delivery in housing and care. The Interim Chief Executive will guide the organisation through delivery of its strategic priorities, ensuring strong governance, effective stakeholder engagement, and high-quality outcomes for communities.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Provide strategic leadership across the group, ensuring delivery of vision and priorities.
- Represent the organisation externally, engaging with Government, partners and media at senior levels.
- Support the board of trustees, upholding the highest standards of governance.
- Lead and inspire the senior leadership team, building effective relationships and a collaborative culture.
- Oversee financial stewardship, investment strategy and the efficient use of resources.
- Ensure the voices of service users and stakeholders are embedded in strategy and delivery.
You Will Have:
- Significant senior leadership experience in complex organisations.
- Strong advocacy and influencing skills, with a track record of shaping policy and practice.
- Proven expertise in governance, compliance and organisational accountability.
- Financial and resource management experience at scale.
- Understanding of the social housing and/or care sector operating environment.
- High emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership style, with experience in interim roles.
