Starfish Search are working with a growing, fast-paced charitable foundation to recruit a Fundraising Consultant for a 12-month term. They are looking for a talented and experienced senior high-value fundraising adviser to help deliver their aims and objectives and, to build a best-in-class fundraising programme that will raise vital funds to support their growth in the U.K and internationally.

THE ROLE

You Will

  • Design and deliver strategic high-value fundraising programmes to engage existing and prospective donors across multiple income streams. Including corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, philanthropic high net-worth individuals and product merchandising
  • Work closely with the Director of External relations and the Senior Development Manager to support the development of the foundation’s Three Year Fundraising Strategy
  • Identify and support the team to build relationships with new and existing high value funders, with a focus on securing six and seven figure plus donations in line with the team’s ambitious targets
  • Support the design and delivery of UK and international engagement events, hosted by the foundation and its corporate partners

 

You Will Have

  • A successful track record in securing financial contributions from high-value audiences or similar (either in the corporate, grant-making or HNWI sectors)
  • Strong expertise in building fundraising infrastructures, as well as strong high-value relationships
  • Experience of events management, including events planning and delivering cultivation, fundraising and stewardship events that bring high-value funders and prospects closer to our work
  • The desire to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Commitment to embedding the values of equity, diversity and inclusion in everything that you do

 

This is a hybrid role based in London, requiring a minimum of two-days per week in the Central London office and travel both within the UK and internationally. The expected time commitment is 4 days per-week with the opportunity for flexible working hours.
