Executive Director, Corporate Resources and Commercial (S151)

Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council
Salary: £131,208
Hackney

Sefton is a fantastic place to live, work and visit – from Bootle in the South to Southport in the North. It is internationally recognised for its outstanding natural beauty with 22 miles of beautiful coastline, but we are also a diverse borough with challenges. We have a strong commitment to equality and we see growth as an important part of that, as exciting investments such as the regeneration of the Strand and the new Marine Lake Event Centre show. We are also a key member of the thriving Liverpool City Region.

We know the next few years will be challenging for everyone in the sector given the pressure on budgets, but we feel well placed to prosper and develop; Sefton is a well-run authority, with good Member-officer relationships, a balanced budget and a robust MTFS. We also have a clear transformation plan in place which reflects our priorities and ambitions and will help us to continue to deliver high-quality and cost-effective services.

THE ROLE
