Starfish Search are working with a large UK charity to recruit an Interim Chief Finance Officer. The focus of this role is to support the development and delivery of the organisations vision, mission and corporate strategy through effective financial management. The role is being recruited as the permanent CFO is retiring at the end of the year.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Ensure the financial health of the organisation and increase their accountability and understanding of their finances
- Support the transformation to best practice financial tech solutions to support growth
- Participate in the effective and efficient leadership of the organisation, acting as a trusted partner across the Leadership Team
- Lead the senior managers responsible for the delivery of the financial planning controls; governance; data protection and risk management
You Will Have:
- A demonstrable understanding and knowledge of the charitable/ commercial sectors.
- A deep knowledge of financial management and investment
- An understanding of legislation and regulation pertaining to financial and legal controls
- The ability to analyse and interpret a wide range of financial and other information from a range of sources
This role is running for a period of 6-12 months. This is a home-based role with regular national travel.
