Head of Finance and Customer Services (S151)
Our new Head of Finance and Customer Services, as the Section 151 officer, will work closely with Members and the CLT to develop and implement our approach to strategic financial planning. The role also covers customer services, giving the successful candidate the chance to build their career as well as make the most of the synergies across these key services.
We are therefore seeking forward thinking, innovative and politically astute candidates who can work at a strategic level as well as develop what is already a very strong team. We are not restricting our search to people with a local government background; assuming you have the appropriate financial qualifications and experience, we are more interested in your ability to work corporately, bring fresh thinking, and offer robust and assured advice.
