THE ROLE
You Will:
- Provide leadership and strategic oversight to the Finance Directorate, Legal, Internal Audit and the Governance Team
- Oversee the budget realignment to ensure financial security and sustainability for the organisations financial future
- Develop and provide financial forecasting, scenario planning and insight reporting
- Oversee the timely preparation of year-end accounts, and financial reports for the Executive Team, the Finance Committee and the Board of Trustees
- Provide regular, timely commentary and assessment of the organisations financial position, its weaknesses and strength, and proposing corrective actions
- Support the development of a strong and effective Governance function
You Will Have:
- Experience leading the Finance, Governance and Legal functions of a large, complex non-profit or similar organisation
- A thorough understanding of financial reporting and the preparation of year-end accounts
- Experience of budget setting and re-alignment, including the implementation of corrective action where necessary
- The ability to maintain positive communication and an effective working relationship with the Executive Team, the Finance Committee and the Board of Trustees
This a hybrid role with an expected 2 days per-week in office in London. It is a full-time position, running for a period of 6 – 12 months.
