Starfish are supporting a Local Authority based in the North to recruit Interim Assistant Director Education & SEND for up to 6 months, starting in May.
THE ROLE
The position closely aligned with the DCS oversees three Heads of Services. In essence, this service has made significant strides and garnered national recognition from a humble starting point. It is imperative for the interim AD to sustain this positive trajectory, ensuring continued momentum in relationships with parents, schools, the ICB. Given the imminent SEND Ofsted evaluation, the postholder must be prepared to assume a pivotal role during the inspection. The AD for SEND & Inclusion is pivotal in collaborating with our DfE Advisor.
The onsite requirements are 3 days per week with good links via road networks and trains.
