Director of Strategy, Transformation, Equalities and Performance

London Borough of Lewisham
Up to £112,000
Hackney

Lewisham is an inner London borough bursting with creativity and opportunities – and we’re still untapping our potential. We’re proud of our diversity and our dynamic communities and our population is growing. But inequalities are rife, and we know that tackling them cannot be achieved in a silo. Our response must be collaborative. This is a new director role to drive change and improvement across the council, whilst ensuring that equity and justice underpin our transformation work.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a unique skill set that spans transformation, change and equalities. This is a critical role reporting to the chief executive and requires someone who can gain the confidence of senior leaders to help them drive change and deliver our savings plans. Just as importantly, you will ensure the organisation continuously puts itself in the shoes of the people of Lewisham to improve their lives. Your track record of leading change and improvement with a laser like focus on equity and justice will have a lasting impact on our borough.
