THE ROLE
You Will
- Identify requirements for the new website and its content, including a clear taxonomy for structuring content, engaging colleagues across the organisation, and externally
- Project manage the delivery of the new website, working with an external digital agency and managing internal engagement
- Commission and write new content for the new website, as necessary
- Review the existing approach to digital publishing, recommending a future approach to meet organisational needs
- Work with the Head of Communications to determine the branding approach to any content brought over to the new site
- Identify areas they can improve on digital communications such as approaches to search engine optimisation, digital marketing, and advertising
You Will Have
- Experience of managing the design and delivery of a medium size organisational website in a research organisation, charity, or the public sector. Producing technical requirements/specifications for digital projects
- Experience of website management, digital product design and editorial oversight of high-profile websites and digital products
- Good facilitation skills, engaging and encouraging contributions
This role requires an immediate start. It is a hybrid role with an expected two days per-week in office and a day rate between £350 – £400 (outside IR35)
