THE ROLE
Starfish are supporting a Local Authority based in the North of England to recruit an Interim Procurement specialist for 6 months, but potentially longer. The ideal candidate will have a background in Local Authority Procurement and experience of working across key stakeholders in Place and Corporate functions. The second element to the role is to lead on a wider programme of efficiencies and saving. You will work with key stakeholders to carryout a council wide review of their biggest spending contracts, and work with those stakeholders to look at cost reduction and efficiencies.
The role is hybrid with a requirement of 1 or 2 days per week on site, but this is quite flexible.
£550-600 per day.
