THE ROLE
You Will
- Work collaboratively with the Group Chief Executive and Directors to deliver the agreed people priorities that support the strategic plan
- Build positive staff relations and ways of working with the newly recognised union
- Lead the development and implementation of a new pay and progression approach through working with an external reward consultant
- Oversee an externally commissioned organisational development programme, that will help to build the kind of organisation they want to be in terms of culture, values and behaviours
- Lead Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives for the organisation
You Will Have
- Significant experience of operating as a senior HR professional in a non-profit or public sector organisation
- Experience of providing advice to senior leaders on complex people related issues
- Experience of working in a unionised workplace
- Ability to link people and organisational development with strategic and operational challenges and opportunities – you will be required to be hands on
- Proven ability to work successfully in an organisation that is experiencing positive change
This is a hybrid role with one day per-week required in York, and regular attendance to either their London or Glasgow office. It is a 9-month contract, inside IR35. Salary/day rate options considered.
