At YoungMinds, we believe passionately that no young person should reach a crisis point with their mental health. We are seeking an inspirational, collaborative and inclusive leader to help us deliver our mission: for all young people to get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what.
You’d be joining an ambitious, quickly growing, modern charity at a time when record numbers of young people are being referred for mental health support. Whether through our support for parents and professionals, our digital advice and information for young people, or our youth-led campaigning, there has never been a more critical time for us to be having a big impact.
We are looking for someone with a commitment to embed anti-racism, justice, equity, diversity and inclusion at the heart of our organisation. You’ll have what it takes to build on our successes and work alongside young people to lead our charity, sustainably, through a period of growth. You’ll be a naturally strong and influential communicator and relationship builder, as comfortable leading a workshop with young people as you are meeting a Minister or funder or engaging with our Board.
We are moving towards becoming a data-driven, digital-era organisation, you will be a leader with keen digital insight who knows how to deliver high-quality digital services and can spot opportunities for innovation. You will work hard to make sure young people’s voices are driving the decisions we make and the work we do and you will have the skills to engage and inspire a passionate, cause-led workforce with sensitivity and kindness.
We are committed to ensuring that we better represent the young people who need us most at all levels within the organisation, and actively encourage applications from Black and minoritised applicants. We are open to job-share applications.
