Motor neurone disease (MND) is a fatal, rapidly progressing neurological condition affecting more than 5,000 adults in the UK at any one time. The disease causes messages from nerves (motor neurones) in the brain and spinal cord that control movement to gradually stop reaching the muscles, leading them to weaken, stiffen and waste. 

THE ROLE

To act as a Non-Voting Member of the Engagement and Income Committee. The overall purpose of the Engagement and Income Committee is to provide governance and scrutiny on the strategic direction of the Association’s engagement and fundraising work.

The Committee Subject Matter Expert (SME) plays a critical role in providing specialised knowledge and expertise to support the decision-making and strategic direction of the Committee.
