Starfish are supporting a local authority in England to recruit an experienced Interim LGR Programme Director to lead the design and preparation phase of a Local Government Reorganisation programme. The focus is on creating the programme framework, governance, and readiness work ahead of a preferred model decision in summer next year.

You’ll bring a strong track record in large-scale transformation, programme design, and stakeholder engagement within local government or similar complex environments. Political awareness and excellent communication skills are essential.
