The Role

After a very successful tenure, our current Chair, Gill Steward, is about to return to a full-time senior role in local government.  Gill has overseen the recruitment of several new NEDs as well as a restructure, which has created three ‘arms’ for the organisation:  Lampton Community Services, Lampton Leisure and Lampton Investment and Development.  

We are therefore seeking a new Chair who can build upon Gill’s great work and support our further growth and development.  You will have a good understanding of community facing services, ideally within a local government context, but more importantly you will be a collaborative and innovative leader, with a commercial focus and the ability to build excellent relationships with a range of stakeholders.  You will also need to be an experienced NED or Chair, with a good working knowledge of the principles and structures of an LATC or arm’s length body.
