Interim Transformation Project Manager (Leisure and Culture)

Starfish Search are working with a local authority in London to recruit a Transformation Project Manager. As part of the Change Programme, the role will focus on leading and shaping strategic and transformation change in the cultural space and wider to improve services and outcomes for residents.
THE ROLE
You will:
- Embed strong project management principles and practice to establish a directorate Project Management Office
- Implement new systems, technologies, and approaches, managing stakeholders to ensure targets, timescales and budgets are achieved and the change is successfully embedded
- Establish governance for key projects including, procurement of leisure contractor and library strategy
- Analyse and interpret complex information to support the development of recommendations for change
You will have:
- Extensive knowledge , understanding and experience of programme and project management principles and methodologies
- Experience of delivery of change management programmes which significantly impact large number of staff and/or customers
- The ability to anticipate problems and sensitive issues and act creatively and proactively to find solutions
- A track record in establishing excellent connections and credibility with senior stakeholders necessary to influence and drive change
This role is running for a period up to 6 months. It is a hybrid role with 2 to 3 days required on site.
