Starfish Search is supporting a Northern local authority in the recruitment of an Interim Strategic Procurement Manager for an initial 6-month period, with the potential for extension.
This position, reporting to an Assistant Director, holds overall responsibility for strategic procurement. As the appointed candidate, you will lead a team and collaborate with key stakeholders both internally and externally to instigate change, implement improvements, and achieve cost savings. The organisation, like many councils, is actively pursuing efficiency gains, and this role plays a pivotal part in realising that objective.
The position offers a home-based work arrangement, with an onsite requirement of 1 day per week.
