Interim Investment Director

Starfish Search are working with a housing company to recruit an Interim Operations Director. This role will have oversight over the investment projects portfolio, requiring a deep understanding of housing management, asset management and real estate markets.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Lead the identification and growth of investment portfolio from external markets, shareholders existing land holdings and from other partners to help identify, secure and progress viable investment properties
- Work alongside the Managing Director to develop and implement a comprehensive housing & asset management strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives and growth targets
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track investment, housing, and asset management performance
- Work with the finance team to create complex financial models to assess the feasibility and profitability of investment opportunities
- Oversee the end-to-end investment, housing & asset management lifecycle, including project planning, design, entitlements, repairs and leasing/sales
You Will Have:
- Experience in leading investment within an opportunity led entrepreneurial environment, ideally within the housing industry
- The ability to adapt to changing conditions to generate innovative and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented
- Experience of understanding and discussing key financial metrics with other members of the development team
- Strong project management skills to effectively coordinate multiple campaigns and tasks simultaneously
This role reports into the Managing Director. It is a 12- month fixed term contract based in London, with a salary of £120,000.
