Interim Operational Commissioning Manager (Adults)

Starfish Search are working with a Local Authority in London to recruit an Operational Commissioning Manager in Adult Social Care. This role will drive commissioning, procurement, and contracting activities to ensure placement sufficiency and improved outcomes for vulnerable adults in our community.
THE ROLE
You will:
- Establish and maintain robust commissioning arrangements across the service and with partner agencies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with health, housing and social care providers, ICS and council staff, carers and advocates and elected Members.
- Lead the development and implementation of business systems, processes and policies in order to ensure they are in line with strategic business objectives.
You will have:
- Proven leadership experience in commissioning, procurement, or contract management within adult social care in a Local Authority context.
- A strong understanding of the local market of care providers, stimulating a diverse range of care and support the sustainability of the sector to maximise outcomes.
