Starfish Search are working with a large charity to recruit an Interim Head of Talent. The focus of this role is to lead the development of a future-focused, values-aligned workforce, with equity and representation at its core.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Be responsible for the end-to-end talent strategy, including recruitment, internal progression, secondments, succession and leadership development.
- Lead the design and delivery of programmes that create meaningful step-up, step-out and step-across opportunities through secondments, apprenticeships, and inclusive career progression strategies.
- Develop strategies to increase the diversity of applicants and appointments, especially in senior and leadership roles.
- Build hiring manager confidence in inclusive recruitment practice and decision-making and track and report on recruitment metrics, workforce diversity and equity in hiring outcomes.
- Expand and enhance our apprenticeship and early careers offer, ensuring it aligns with workforce needs and social impact goals.
You Will Have:
- A proven experience in talent, workforce development or inclusive recruitment, at a senior level.
- A track record of designing strategies to increase workforce and leadership diversity.
- Experience in secondments, early careers, or leadership development pathways.
- Experience with data, systems thinking, and influencing at all levels.
This role is running for a period of six months beginning in August. You will be required to be on-site with teams throughout UK, but it’s largely a hybrid role. It offers a day-rate of £400 – £450 inside IR35.
