Starfish Search are working with a large healthcare charity to recruit an Interim Head of Operations and Quality. This role has a dual focus, leading and managing operational services whilst being accountable for clinical leadership and practice.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Ensure day to day practice reflects the highest standards of governance, clinical effectiveness, safety and patient and family experience
- Influence strategy, clinical care and service delivery both internally and externally to support the further development of system clinical pathways
- Develop an integrated approach, in line with national and international best practice
- Provide professional leadership for all non-medical clinical staff across the region, providing expert operational and clinical consultancy
- Be accountable for the contract management and service reporting for all commissioned and non-commissioned services
You Will Have:
- A proven background in managing quality and governance within a complex health or social care system.
- Up to date knowledge and evidence of leading teams and services to deliver high quality, safe, patient centred care
- Evidence of leading governance, quality improvement and risk management
- Knowledge of service improvement tools and techniques
- A current NMC pin number or be a member of allied health professionals
This role is running for a period of 6 months and can be delivered on a day rate basis inside IR35. This role is based in the North West and you will need to have physical presence in our Liverpool base.
