Interim Head of Leisure & Contracts

Starfish Search are working with a Local Authority to recruit an Interim Head of Leisure and Contracts. In this role you will provide strategic and financial leadership and day to day management of Leisure Services and Leisure related Contracts across the Culture and Leisure Division.
THE ROLE
You will:
- Develop and continuously improve high-profile, frontline services that are highly valued by local residents.
- Lead and manage multiple change, capital and service improvement projects across the division from initiation to completion.
- Ensure effective commissioning, market testing and contract management of service processes are in place for Leisure and Contracts and operating to all required standards.
You will have:
- An in-depth and practical understanding of current and upcoming legislation, financial challenges, and local government issues relevant to the service area.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering transformation and change in a positive way.
- Experience of engaging with a diverse local community, and stakeholders influencing and negotiating to achieve common outcomes.
