Starfish Search are working with a professional membership organisation to recruit an Interim Head of Environmental Health. They are searching for a talented, knowledgeable Environmental Health practitioner to provide strategic oversight of environmental health policies, public affairs and to foster productive engagement with UK politicians.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Promote environmental and public health objectives of the organisation and ensuring alignment with environmental and legislative frameworks and proposals.
- Leverage expertise in environmental and public health to advocate for sustainable policies, influence legislative debates, and enhance public understanding of environmental health priorities
- Deliver policy impact through focused activities overseen by our member-led governance structures.
- Implement the Independent Review into the design and operation of the policy advisory panels
You Will Have:
- Proven expertise in UK environmental health policy or related fields
- Strong political acumen and experience engaging with UK politicians and government agencies
- Excellent communication, analytical and management skills
This role is running for a period of 6-12 months and offers a salary of £70,000. It will be fully remote but with nationwide travel as required.
